At the recent mastering SAP Financial Conference in Sydney, Peter Tysoe of iNova Pharmaceuticals and Richard Frykberg of IQX Business Solutions presented a paper on achieving Financial Excellence.

They identified the reasons we love Excel for reporting as:

• User-empowerment and self sufficiency

The following solutions were demonstrated as being able to deliver the "best of both worlds" - Excel at the front-end and SAP in the back-end without any of the pitfalls of doing data dumps.
